ITI was established in 2006 and started functioning in a part of the building which housed Govt Tribal School Kulukoor After 3 Years the Institute was shifted to its own new building situated at Mattathukadu besides main road to Anakkatti The Institute mainly aim at the development of tribal people of Attappady area Being the Industrial background of Attappady is very poor and majority of the population depends on agriculture and cattle rearing the introduction of the above trades in the training sector with help the youth to have training and there by attaining better job and self employment opportunities
