The Institution started Basic Training under Industrial Training Department in 1997 with 4 Chemical Trades that is Instrument Mechanic Chemical Plant, Maintenance Mechanic Chemical Plant, Attendant Operator chemical Plant and Laboratory Assistant Chemical Plant under NAC Scheme. In the year 2000 NAC Scheme for 4 Chemical Trades changed to SCVT Scheme. In addition 3 more additional trades were introduced under SCVT scheme that is Food Production General, Food Production Vegetarian and Steward. In the year 2004-2005 the above mentioned 7 trades got NCVT affiliation. In 2015 Food Production Vegetarian trade is revamped to Food Production General trade. In the same year the Institute is developed with 2 additional trades that is Catering and Hospitality Assistant and Baker and confectioner and an addition of 1 unit each in existing trade under PPP Scheme. The Institute has well equipped building which include administrative block, Workshops and IMC building for the fruitful training in 2 acres of land. Although among 2000 application, we got the right youth sorted out of merit, the available seats are limited to 408 nos. Due to good awareness from the department, the public are rushed for admission.
